Why We Put This Together: A Postpartum Giveaway Rooted in Care
We’ve been there.
After the texts stop coming in. After the freezer meals run out. After the initial rush of visitors or silence settles. The postpartum season is full of opposites—so much joy, and so much need. So many new beginnings, and yet a version of you that’s still healing.
We created this giveaway not as a flashy gesture, but as something slower and more thoughtful. A way of saying: this season matters. Your body, your rest, your transition into motherhood—it all matters.
It’s not just about bouncing back or “enjoying every moment.” It’s about being held. Being nourished. Feeling resourced and supported in the day-to-day work of becoming a mother.
And every single item in this giveaway was chosen from that place. Nothing random, nothing trendy just to fill a box. Each one is something we’ve either used ourselves or given to our own clients—because we know it makes a difference.
Here’s What’s Inside and Why It Matters:
A Mini Family Photography Session with Kathryn Foltz: To capture not just your baby, but you in this chapter. Not posed perfection—real, lived-in moments that will mean even more with time.
A Wildbird Aerial Wrap: Because keeping baby close while still being able to move and rest makes a real difference in those early weeks.
A bundle of postpartum healing items from Gesundheit + a gift card: Practical, gentle tools to support your physical recovery. Herbal sitz baths, tinctures, creams—things you’ll actually use.
A $50 credit to Everwyld Chiropractic: For restoring alignment in your body and your nervous system. Support that goes deeper than the surface.
A $100 credit to Orders Up Bozeman meal delivery: Because nourishment often becomes the first thing to slip through the cracks—and you need food that fuels healing.
A jar of NORA tea: A mineral-rich blend used for generations to rebuild strength after birth. It’s earthy, grounding, and a small but steady act of care.
A beautiful, functional diaper bag: Because the little things—like not digging through chaos—really do make a difference.
A 40 oz Stanley cup: For hydration that actually keeps up with you (especially during nursing marathons).
A jar of Home Maidens baby butt paste: Made locally, clean and effective—something you’ll reach for daily.
A voucher for either a breastfeeding course or a car seat install course (your choice): Because confidence and clarity go a long way in reducing stress.
Why We’re Doing This
After I (Kathryn) gave birth, I had support around me—my husband, midwife, family and friends. I was held, in many ways. And still... I couldn’t let go.
I remember trying to clean the kitchen a few days postpartum, slowly unloading the dishwasher while my baby slept and my muscles ached with every movement. My body was screaming for rest, but my mind whispered, You’re fine. Just get this done. Don’t fall behind.
I was “healing,” sure—but I wasn’t resting. And even when those around me said, “It’s okay, lie down, we’ve got this,” I still felt guilty for accepting help. I felt like I had something to prove. Like being “on top of it” somehow meant I was doing it right.
Looking back now, I can see how much I needed permission—not just from others, but from myself—to soften. To stop pushing. To truly receive the care that was already being offered to me.
That’s why this giveaway exists.
Because I’ve been there—surrounded by support, but still caught in the quiet pressure to keep going. To bounce back. To be strong. And if I felt that way with people around me encouraging rest, I can only imagine how many mothers are out there trying to hold it all together completely alone.
We believe postpartum care shouldn’t be a luxury or an afterthought. It should be built-in. Normal. Expected. Planned for. Because healing after birth—physically, mentally, emotionally—is not a side note.
We believe that no mom should have to reach the edge of burnout before being offered help. That support shouldn't arrive only after tears or breakdowns. It should be there at the start—and stay long after the casseroles stop coming.
This giveaway is just one small way we're trying to push that truth forward. It’s not just about the bundle—it’s about what it represents. A reminder that your needs aren’t extra. That rest isn’t something you earn. That you matter, right now, in the messy middle of it all.
And while only one mama will win the giveaway, our hope is that this message ripples out. That it sparks something. That it encourages one mom to say yes to help. One partner to take the night shift. One community to show up with less judgment and more care.
So if you’re reading this, here’s what we’re asking:
Enter the giveaway.
Share it with someone you love.
Start the conversation.
Ask the moms in your life how they’re really doing—and keep asking.
If you’re a mom in it right now, give yourself permission to rest, to be supported, to receive.—
With love,
Heather + Kathryn
